IN FILA PER UNO
is the work of the artist Daniele Basso on display for the IX Edition of "Biella for Remembrance Day"
"This year - says the artist - a solo work at the center of reflections on the occasion of Remembrance Day. A single gesture that metaphorically tells the deepest meaning of the beastly nature of man. All potential victims and perpetrators, we must go beyond superficiality and indifference, up to the meaning of our every day gesture".
The event, organized by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Biella in collaboration with the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation and the Biella Public Library, will be attended by Ermanno Tedeschi (curator of the sculpture), Your Excellency Roberto Farinella (Bishop of the Diocese of Biella), Massimiliano Gaggino (Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Biella), Alberto Antonello (pastor of the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation in Biella and promoter of the event), together with the artist Daniele Basso. Moderated by Silvano Esposito, journalist of Il Biellese, who will read the greetings of His Excellency Gialuigi Benetti (Ambassador of Italy to Israel) and Hon. Minister for Education Lucia Azzolina. His Excellency will also be attended by the Prefect of Biella Fabrizia Triolo, the Mayor of Biella Claudio Corradino, the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Biella Massimiliano Gaggino, Dr. Chiara Caucino (Councilor of the Piedmont region for Family, Children and Home, Social, Equal Opportunities) with the greetings of the Governor Hon. Alberto Cirio, and Hon. Senator Lucio Malan with greetings from the Hon. Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati (President of the Italian Senate) and Hon. Senator Gilberto Pichetto.
