From the Teatro del Silenzio by Andrea Bocelli to Piazza dei Priori in Volterra,Basso's Art continue to "fly".
In Volo - Volterra beyond the fear - by Daniele Basso is a project curated by Matteo Graniti, Carlo Alberto Arzelà and Cinzia de Felice with the direction of Alberto Bartalini, which opened on Thursday 26 September at 6 pm in Piazza dei Priori in Volterra. The Boogeyman and Ikaros installations, which represent the ancestral clash between fear and the instrument to overcome it, will be the new set design for Piazza dei Priori until 12 January 2020, while Achill, a powerful hawk and symbol of strength and courage, will dominate the interior of the main atrium of Palazzo dei Priori. This new project follows the path IN VOLO by Daniele Basso curated by Matteo Graniti directed by Alberto Bartalini presented in Lajatico for the 2019 edition of the Teatro del Silenzio by Andrea Bocelli "Ali di Libertà". Art will therefore be the means by which a territory so rich in history and tradition as that represented by the municipalities of Volterra and Lajatico can begin a synergistic reflection of culture and valorisation.
IKAROS
